Every summer children look forward to summer camp. The sad reality is that, not all children have the opportunity to experience summer camp. Over the years, the cost of childcare in Ontario has increased immensely, leaving children with nothing to do for the duration of the summer months. Unfortunately, often these are the children who live in inner-cities that turn to the streets for stuff to do, getting into trouble with the law at an early age. Camp Green Light strongly believes these children should have an affordable, fun filled summer program, in hopes to keep them off the streets. Camp Green Light also believes that every child is entitled to a fun filled summer break, regardless of their economical background.
